im having a weird week.

but im so lazy.
study for the GRE.
go to the ARC after class.
UNPACK.
practice things.
get my cameras repaired.
NOT sleep all day.
i dont know why.
i just keep finding excuses.
i wish motivation had an on-switch.
id use it everyday.
or.
maybe if i had a scary person to threaten me into doing these things everyday.
then id get things done.

i get back on the 25th.
start summer school on the 26th.
going to vegas for my sisters wedding on the 28th.
i wonder what its going to be like when i get back.
just fitting myself in as if i didnt leave for ten months.
i mean,
everyones lives just went on.
and changed.
and people are doing different things now.
its kind of weird.
especially if the person i left with isnt even coming back with me.
i wonder what drivings going to be like.
i guess for now i should just focus on the good things.

i miss those the most.
so much that i search for photos of it on flickr.

i dont know where milpitas is
but apparently, this taqueria las vegas place has good carne asada fries.
they get a ton of good reviews.

if you havent already,
you should change all the lightbulbs
in yr house from those
old fashioned (and so lame)
incandescent ones to those
funny looking,
energy saving,
less global warming pollution-ing,
and more money in yr pocket-ing,
CFLs (compact fluorescent lightbulbs)!!!
even getting rid of brand new incandescent
lightbulbs can save more energy than using them.
they're really THAT inefficient.
so yeah.
you can help save the environment
just by switching some lightbulbs.
so easy!

my bike basket has a mouth.
i cant hold anything in it.
three more months of taiwan.
i dont know what to say.
i guess
i just dont really want to go yet.
lets go out!
and feel as small as cartographers make us.
im still alive and waiting.
we saw some 40 year old balding-comb-over-white man
on the mrt today talking to a 25 year old taiwan girl.
he asked her questions in english
how old are you? do you have a boyfriend?
where do you live? do you like to dance?
how old do i look? what do you like to do?
she could barely answer/understand him.
and he kept leaning in closer and closer
naming all the clubs he frequented
as fast as he could.
...and then some taiwan man came
with one of those big red and white striped bags
filled with peanut candy
and said in english:
"hello! have a seat!"
after changing my life plans
about once a week
for months
i have finally decided.
and
i have a plan.
a 3 year plan.
i also have a bunch of film that
needs to be processed.
we have two days off this week.
lets hope we find something good to do.
Elephant Woman is possibly the best
way anyone could ever end a movie.
